I want to downgrade my Android 8.0 to 7.0 on my Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F). The following error appears on my phone when I press start on Odin: sw rev check fail device 4 binary 2 error. .
Android Oreo is draining my phone's battery. Can't find the solution anywhere! Is there another way?
Current firmware (bought my phone in Spain, carrier free):
PDA version: G930FXXS4ESC1
CSC version: G930FPHE4ERKF
The one I'm trying to install (the latest firmware released in Spain for Android 7.0):
PDA version: G930FXXS2DRDI
CSC version: G930FPHE2DRB5
I have tried:
Using different USB ports and cables (incl the original) and Odin versions (v3.11; v3.12.5; v3.13.1).
