Started using Ubuntu about a year ago (still learning) ie why can i not write to certain sd cards... sorry OT

Even for xiaomi phones we have 2 different flashing tool.... One is used for EDL flash for locked bootloaders and otherone is fastboot flash for unlocked bootloaders...

amazing job dev ill definitely support and send some screenshots. is there a Qualcomm unlocking tool we can use in linux like mtktool if so could you add it or something similar? I'll gladly squash bugs or post logs if i find or need any 👍i have an lg ls676 tribute hd but no matter what distro i use i cant get at fastboot thank you for ur help

never tried arch linux before but i know about it great work devs i also dont like windows suggest i already dualbooted my lappy
1)ubuntu8 16.04 and 2)Windows 10 latest build now i have 500gb hdd storage is 50gb partition is ok for this distro ? or should i increase it? suggestions are welcome looking forward to triboot with this

side Question: for HTC M9 devices we must use HTCfastboot to flash firmaware..due to errors with (file size limitation with) normal fastboot...any possibilty in getting it incorporated?is it possible?
