on the FWUL desktop the folder "LG" contains the lglaf terminal (steadfasterX). double click to open and type:

Code:
sudo python partitions.py --debug --list > /tmp/auto.txt 2>&1
(password when asked is the login pass, so "linux" when using FWUL)

and
Code:
sudo python partitions.py --debug --list --devtype UFS > /tmp/forced.txt 2>&1
and share both output files (auto.txt, forced.txt) which you can find in /tmp

ok I guess:

you are using FWUL in forgetful mode?
If so: you have to switch in SALT to the develop version first and re-do the above cmds..

Hi steadfasterX,

The logs from the last post were taken after SALT was set to develop mode. I normally run in forgetful mode since its faster.

The following logs were taken sequentially in persistent mode with SALT in version 3.22-11:TESTING:

Full SALT debug log -> bpaste.net/show/KL2PG
auto.txt -> bpaste.net/show/RKXIM
forced.txt -> bpaste.net/show/TR7GS

Thank you for the help.

something went wrong then when switching to develop.. !
I recommend using the persistent mode (as you have done, just to mention for all future testings).

again on the FWUL desktop the folder "LG" the lglaf terminal (steadfasterX). double click to open and this time type:

Code:
git checkout develop
git status
git pull
sudo python partitions.py --debug --list > /tmp/auto.txt 2>&1
sudo python partitions.py --debug --list --devtype UFS > /tmp/forced.txt 2>&1
Copy and paste the output of the terminal commands as well.

Hi steadfasterX,

You were right, this time it seems that the auto file has actual debug data. Here are is the data I got from the debug files:

Terminal outputs -> bpaste.net/show/2DVMW
auto.txt -> bpaste.net/show/QRHVG
forced.txt -> bpaste.net/show/JXBFW

Again, thanks for all the help!!

ok perfect. as thought the switch to develop seems to have an issue in SALT..
anyways now that you are on develop you can start SALT again. it should look better now. Try doing a custom backup and select just userdata. This can take several hours though.
keep in mind that all this will only do any good if your device is not encrypted at all because in download mode the data is not unlocked.
