I Don't understand how to use your mods

I've downloaded your file and got it running on my Google Pixel 2 running Android 10. However, the screens I see when I start your MiFit don't look anything like the ones you show in your description. For example I don't see any option to "Share" data nor can I find any way to tell MiFit my Strava account details. What am I missing?

All that stuff is deeper in the app - it's kind of a hack

So, on the main screen, after your watch syncs data 100%, tap the icon of the walking person with the circle around them. That takes you to "My Workouts"

Tap "Today's Activity", which takes you to a list of your activities.

Then, tap an activity - e.g. "Outdoor Cycling". That'll load the activity with the map and stats, etc.

In the top right there's the share icon - looks like a square with an arrow coming out .

Dismiss the "Share using" action sheet. Now you've got a grey popup with CONFIGURATION/SETUP (which is a button) and all the activities.

Setup your Strava token from the setup part, and once you're done, tap on one of the activities which will attempt to upload it to Strava after you've configured.

That should be it!

Note that the activities don't disappear, so perhaps don't submit the same thing multiple times unless you want to pretend that you did more exercise.

Hey thanks for your work and for share it.
I have one question: I have MiFit official app installed and my GPS tracing data in it.
I can't install your app without uninstalling the official app. But if I uninstall the official app, will I loose my previous data?

I want to download the GPS tracking of my previous trekings trainings.

Hi.
I've been there.
Provided you are using now a MiFit account, you will not lose anything switching apps because it's uploaded in their cloud.

Hi, this is me again.
I have a Huawei P10 plus and an Amazfit Bip. I just installed the last version (4.07b) and when I try to sync the watch it says that the watch isn't found, to reboot it. I tried rebooting the phone, powering off and on bluetooth, and rebooting the Amazfit, but it keep saying me that.
Should I try with a previous version? Is there anything else to do?

Great app mod!
I use it almost every day. Could you please enable export also for crossfit/joga exercises? It is already possible, but I need to have walking/running activity in the history and export from it. So it will be more user friendly :)

It does update agps through the app. Last version actually wanted to do it every 2-3 days when I opened the app myself in the last few weeks. If your watch is asking for it, definitely manually open the app and let it synchronize.

I'm not sure if this works in the new version yet, but we'll find out in a week.

When updating from the old to the new version I made sure to install the official version in between btw. There's a new firmware to be installed for the Bip itself and that seems to have fixed the occurrence of displayed temperature for me (although this had been 'fixed' and broken a lot in the last year, consider it temporarily working ?).

I am always synchronizing my watch with the app. I am actually wondering why it didnt update agps in the last days or week.

I have the same experience. A-GPS didn't update for me in the last week. The watch is even saying connect to the app to update A-GPS, but it does't update. The watch starts to track GPS after some time after I start the activity even if the GPS is not found yet. A bit annoying.

Maybe it's disabled again then. Does the previous method of getting agps to update work?
Create an empty allow.fwr file in the folder /sdcard/Amazfit_Jps1x2/

Edit:

I think it might not be an issue of the modded app, but of the Mi Fit version itself. I'm seeing more posts on Reddit of people complaining about the same issue with official versions and also different watches.
Something else I've noticed with this Mi Fit update is the removal of Google Fit integration.

A-gps just (9-11-19) updated for me through the app (4.0.11) without the allow.fwr file. It seems like nothing is wrong with the mod then.

    Using this mod you can export your workouts to gpx/tcx files or upload them automatically to your Strava account.
    It is based on the official Mifit application with modifications that allow data extraction and import to other platforms.

    About Firmware update of devices:
    From 4.0.5: Only one version of MifitTcxExport will be published when a new version is released from now on. With a flag (explained later) you can enable/disable firmware update on devices.
    Previous to 4.0.5: Normally I publish 2 versions of the mod, one that includes firmware and the other without firmware. If you use the one that includes firmware I do not take responsibility for possible bricks of your watch / smartband. To update the firmware should be done with the official Mifit application and after updating uninstall oficial Mifit version and install my mod. Although I always use my mod with the included firmware to upgrade my Amazfit Bip when there are new firmware versions and I have never had problems.

    The way to use the tool is very simple, when we are visualizing a training session, by clicking on the upper right button to share our training we will see a list of the trainings that we have loaded in the Mifit cache. The first item in that list leads to a dialog that allows us to change the mod's configuration.

    In the latest versions after researching the Strava API, studying the Java threads and many other things, I have already managed to allow the automatic upload of the training to Strava when the users selects an activity to export.

    You also have the option to continue exporting the files to gpx / tcx format and upload them manually (or using other tools) to your favorite sports platforms (Polarflow, GarminConnect, Runtastic, Endomondo, Strava, etc.)

    2020-04-13 I have called this version Covid-19 due to the many hours I have been able to spend being confined at home. I have investigated in detail the operation of the AGPS update and now we have the possibility to see on detailed firmware info section the last date and time that the AGPS has been updated and force the update whenever we want.

    Now you can force AGPS update. If you create a file on folder of Mifit mod /sdcard/Amazfit_Jps1x2/ named force.agps and close Mifit app. When you open again and your device is connected using Bluetooth it will update AGPS and this file will be renamed to force.agps.ok

    -Non-Gps activities are exported too as Crossfit (Treadmill running for example).
    -Non-grouping notifications enabled and emoji support.

    -You can see las AGPS date/time update and force AGPS update.

    Hi!

    Thanks for investigatimg it. I have not wear device and can't get hr recorded from device. Could you send me *_gps and *_record file with an screen capture displaying hr graph of that workout?

    I will study it on next weeks and will see if it is possible to add hr on gpx/tcx files.

    It seems the heart rate is stored as UInt8 and starts at offset 17, and onwards every 3. Cross checked with the graphical data on the app and it matches. I'm not sure what the other bytes mean, and how it's structured since I have no background in programming.

    I hope we could have the heart rate included to the TCX export soon.
