Yes. Worked but not very intuitive. I've flashed (nearly) every version manually, but I gave aroma a try today. I think it took three or four tries to be successful. I should have taken screenshots and taken notes to explain in detail. If I remember right the biggest head scratcher was choosing v4a profiles. They're all selected, even no profile. Then it asked which location... If no profile is selected, why would I chose a location?
I got error 7, and while I was still in twrp, I re-ran Aroma and it finished properly.@RatchetPanda, I got an error 7 message on the aroma, but it seems like it was after it flashed everything I'd set to install. Viper is installed, but I'm not sure where/what else to check to confirm if everything I wanted made it in (mostly hk/xplay). I guess my question to you is, if I saw it flash what I wanted prior to the error, am I likely all good?

@guitardedhero Would you enlighten me on how are you connecting your phone to your DEH-80prs?
I'm leaning towards using our headunit's non aptx bluetooth over my s6's wolfson DAC via 3.5mm jack. That said I don't know if it'd conversely be worthwhile to invest in a separate USB-DAC that i could then use in the car as well as with my headphones.
I have used aroma 3 times, after clean and dirty rom flash. I've gotten error 7 every time. Last time I decided to reflash while still in twrp and it went fine. One box checked for each item (all default). 1st flash takes about 3 seconds to say failed, can't find some folder... 2nd flash takes maybe 15 seconds and looks fine. Manual installs usually go without issue. Can someone please explain to me how the Aroma installer is 'not very intuitive'? I have never needed to flash it more than once for a single version.
Known quirks
1. No profile does not install profiles but still asks for location
2. You get error 7 if you uncheck all the profile boxes
A: read! There's one that says 'no profiles'
I'm working to improve it but if you guys don't say how I can't.
+1 to that! I'd rather use aroma than the regular one. Very convenient, fast and intuitive. ?Can someone please explain to me how the Aroma installer is 'not very intuitive'? I have never needed to flash it more than once for a single version.

I used it for the first time today and I found it to be fairly simple to navigate. I almost missed the No Profiles box, but I did see it and check it at the last second (perhaps all caps or some surrounding text to draw the eye to that box might help). I still got an error 7, and I'm not sure why, but I think everything installed fine. Maybe I chose the wrong path for the No Profile? I apologize for not remembering the exact error message. Can someone please explain to me how the Aroma installer is 'not very intuitive'? I'm on 0.9.9.8-11 , can I dirty flash rc1 over it?Hell of a month guys! :highfive:
We've made tons of progress and even though I anticipated having an official, stable release of Exodus available well before the end of our first month, I am not surprised either. What we've created together has never been done and its massive collection of libraries and effects is a monument to the compatibility that we have achieved.
This sound system is completely from scratch, borrowing nothing of the files that are sometimes three or even four years old found in most available sound mods and breaks the mold by trying things never attempted before, resulting in something truly spectacular that we all can say that we have had a hand in its crafting.
The enormous success and light-speed growth of this thread is a testament to the community spirit and ownership we all share of this project. This has always been a 100% user driven sound system and its evolution to its current status is only possible because of each and every one of you. The unbelievable work and input you all have out forth leaves me almost speechless. I never imagined the potential this project has reached so be proud of yourselves and each other for what we have accomplished in only a single month and be especially excited about this next month as we grow bigger day by day with all sorts of ideas and surprises very soon!
RC1 is based on 0.9.9.8-12. Bluetooth data is now in /customize to be installed to non-LG devices. This should be a major leap towards Bluetooth compatibility. Please report any existing issues after having tested on a fresh /system with your rom's stock build.prop. Those that have been lucky enough to not experience any issues over the course of this month, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor! :good:

## Qualcomm™ Audio Effects Configuration START ##
# Qualcomm™ devices have the ability to select from four audio effects configurations using Android O (default), Asus, DAP (native Dolby Atmos), Huawei, Sony, or Stock /soundfx libraries.
# IMPORTANT!!
# If installing an audio effects configuration on a currently installed sound system, BE SURE TO INSTALL THE CURRENTLY INSTALLED MODULES AGAIN USING THE APPROPRIATE VALUES!!
# Installing Core is not necessary, but any other module IS NECESSARY so that those modules' entries are written to the new audio effects configuration!!
# As a reminder, any preferred or custom audio effects configuration can always be automatically installed during the Core System module installation by placing it directly in /sdcard named arise_effects.conf to result with /sdcard/arise_effects.conf.
