I'm not power user and i'm not familiar with what's the diferance between Superuser and Super SU and what exploit should i use. Also is there any chance to ruin my device by following this method? I would like to root my phone (Galaxy S2) but i don't want to brick it or something.

Thumbs up Harmless
With this app "Framaroot" chances of bricking are nihil. But since Samsung closed all know exploits on (at least S3) those galaxy devices with the last OTA, chances are good that you won't get root.

I am also waiting for a new exploit to be discovered.... miss my root terribly!..... Anyone?

SUCCESS!!!
Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
Android 4.1.2

i used SuperSU + Aragorn
when it prompted me to reboot i was like "please work, PLEASE WORK" and IT WORKED FLAWLESLY!
One question tho, do i have to un-root when re-flashing ROM with odin?

PS: There's a "bug" i think cuz when i plug the phone via usb it shows it on some other language regardless my system settings. (screenshot below)

Doubtfull...

Samsung sealed all exploids for my device GT-I9300 [Sim- & Netlock-free, Baseband I9300XXEMG4, Android 4-1-2, Build # JZO54K.I9300XXEMG4)

and unless SRS knows more exploits than alephzain - which i highly doubt - i won't use this app.
Yes - I am reluctant to use a rooting app - which is unknown to me - and i prefer to use an offline application like Framaroot.

I could also ask:
  • How does Framaroot work?
  • How does SRSroot work?
  • Why does SRSroot need a server to work?
  • Is SRSroot as easily reversible than Framaroot?

Any insights to those questions?
