Gcam images worse than stock camera on LG V20
I've been trying out Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_V2.2.190716.1800-Final on my LG V20 (H990DS). I've found the image resolution to be significantly worse on Gcam than on the stock camera app on the phone, which surprised me - see attached image samples for a comparison.
Are there any default settings that I should be tweaking in Gcam to get the best out of it?

This version works in Havoc 3.1 and 3.2
cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v4.2t3.apk
even with the beast kernel H870_-Beast-Kernel_PIE-A10.zip with many governors (I hope they really change the performance) and Magisk 20.3, Viper4Android drivers v4afx-rootless_01.15.2020.zip

I am using P3v12.4_GoogleCamera_6.2.030.apk. Should I switch to this: cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v4.2t3.apk?

No, If it works with your phone. I have LG G6 H870 and want to choose a wide camera from time to time and I was glad with results.
--------
Now I have checked GCam_7.2.010_Urnyx05-v2.2.apk just works not only for default lens in Havoc 3.2 Q. After switching with the on screen 1x 2x (you can enable wide lens in advanced settings as tele lens, do not choose 0.4x widelens in menu advanced settings) it works fine finally!
--------
cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v4.2t3_fu24-05h.apk switches in the same way as cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v4.2t3.apk.

Just compare photos and use the newest 7.2 (night photos!) or older 5.1. I think normal photos are sometimes better for 5.1, but everyone should evaluate on his/her own. I try to use the 7.2. as my default camera and report results in a week.
-------
This gcam 7.2 is better than the stock one (sharper and more natural colours). I own two units of LG G6 (a stock and havoc Q versions), so I compared their photos.

Hi. I have an H872, with pixel experience. Do you recommend any version of the gcam that works the selfie camera? The ones I'm testing have blurry pictures (in the front camera)

Which version should I use for LG V20 on Official Lineage OS 17.1 (Android Q 10)? Wide angle and regular camera lens.
