Yup, while not perfect, best I've tried for Q-10 roms, I'm running 17.1 lineage. Oops, on a V30 btw.

It doesn't have a config file nor ability to load / save one, from what I can tell. But, not
sure it's really needed as *most* everything is great.

There are a few circumstances where the app will close, especially when using the wide angle
lens. Front pics are awesome, as good as they get I think, so *big* improvement over others (on
aosp roms anyway).

Video works in normal lens, think wide angle worked also (can't remember everything I tired), sound
works. I left it to save on internal storage, but everything shows up with the Gallery app.

Best one for me, so far, thanks for mentioning it.

cheers

Still using 4.2 T3 as main driver on my G5. Last weeks, I got problems with camera silent crashing after some successful shooting. Camera still seems to take pictures, and previewing looks fine, but files are corrupt with 0 KB size. Has anyone encountered this bug?

Is there a night vision gcam recommended for Lg v30 (US998)?
I couldn't install Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_BF_V2.2.1.190822.1145.apk
There is a problem parsing the package.
Install unknown apps is ticked
I did install cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v4.2t3.apk
So I'm pleased with the speed of the gcam, just need to find the controls for night mode.

Parsing error is most likely a hint your Android version is to old. You need a custom rom

v4.2 t3 is a great gcam port but has no night mode. Its based on an old gcam version.

GCam_6.1.021_Advanced V1.6-Fu24_5Lens-01r Based Mod on the MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2e Google Camera 6.1.021.220943556
works good, after customising settings, you have label for aux (wide) lens, or main lens.
Night shot works Ok, too.

on Pie (less then a week in use)
GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v1.6.apk
looks OK, FC when I tried to take a photo with HDR off. Besides that, results are somewhat different than previous gcam I had. Matter of taste. I would say that colours are a bit more natural in Urnyx cam.
An I haven't took a video yet...

On NightSight display is dark, photo not perfect (often smudged, not too pretty). It was better on previous version I had. Keep on searching for perfest one...

I am trying to use GCAM to record me playing guitar. When I use Easy Recorder app I can set 44kbps bitrate (maximum) so the audio gets pretty good (pretty good indeed!). However, when using GCAM to record video, the audio is never that good. Is there a way or a distro of GCAM that allows me to set the audio bitrate to maximum available?

Even using the default camera app of my smartphone to record video, the audio never gets as good as the EASY RECORDER app! If you guys now any video recorder app that allows me to set bitrate to audio I would love to try it out!
