To resolve this go to Settings> System > Recent apps management menu > and choose normal cleaning instead of in depth cleaning.

This worked for me! I have been plagued by this issue having every now and then to go to accessibility options and re-enable Greenify. It drived me mad!

Let me know if it worked for you guys!

This problem started on my LeEco Max 2 with PIE (OMNI & NITROGEN ROMs)
I have tried about everything, now I will search for an older version of Greenify.
Anyone found a solution yet?

EDIT: I found that if MacroDroid is disabled, this problem doesn't occur.
Not a specific Macro, but MacroDroid itself must disabled in my case.

Thanks

Since I am rooted, I am not able to reproduce your scenario. I think that your ROM or device may be incompatible since your other phone behaves as expected.

Could you please indicate the path to this configuration? I searched but I was unable to locate.

I tested with version 3.9.5 and also with the current 4.7.5. Both did not work.

That's an old post you quoted! Anyhow, I no longer use Greenify as Doze (largely) accomplishes the same task without using another app. Good luck!

My quoted post is two and half years old. I no longer use Greenify as I am getting about 0.3% idle drain per hour even without it on Android 10. So I don't remember the setting mentioned in my post.
As DB126 said, Good Luck!
