With space still being a premium on phones and tablets I would love to be able to play video files in multiple .rars. VLC can do this on the desktop and BS Player can do this on Android. This would be a killer feature for me.

Space? By archiving video you only waste space.

I get videos emailed me as .rar files. I know. I've talked to the higher ups and they say something about their firewall doesn't like .avi in or out. Either way, it would be a handy feature to have.

This feature would be nice to have.
There are a lot of Movies around which consist of multiple RAR-Files.
These RAR-Files arent really 'packed' - they're created with 'no compression' (Store) Option.
Something like a 'virtual-rar-file-system' would be needed for making it readable.
Like @Sid32 said - VLC already supports it for ages.
