mxplayer is the best, but i've a problem watching a video on http protocol after 20-30 minutes it close the stream.
I tried bsplayer and it works well maybe because on bsplayer is possible set buffer and timeout (in seconds) .

is it possible add these features?

can you share a sample URL of a stream which has issues?
When MX Player closes, immediately open the MX player again & collect the bug report from the help menu. It will help us to understand the issue better.

maybe a timeout is a sol
when internet goes down for 2-5 seconds , mx freezes or close the stream.
Is it possible add a timeout option to retry a connection to same url after 5 (or more) seconds ?

Hi,

Can you try HW+ decoder?
HW decoder basically uses android mediaplayer API. It may freeze when the connection is dropped while playing the video.

hi sir,
happy new year

can you add a timeout (for example 5 seconds) to close the connection if the url doesn't give 202 header code?

MX Player already send a keep-alive connection request. But, it looks like the server closes the connection when the connection is idle for some time (i.e when the buffer is full). We will further investigate the issue for a possible workaround.

the connection allows the pause/resume option.
The server doesn't close the connection otherwise pause/resume option should not work.
However thx for ur work...
I hope in ur solution
