Seriously, "reserved" on page 209 of any thread ? Why?

I just started page 210, so who is going to go back and read your "reserved" comment 209 -- whenever you decide to write something?

The app version does not always reflect the codec version.
There was no change to the codec.

MX Player v1.9.2 Free, GP
What's new:
1.9.0 ~ 1.9.2
• Support for HDMI passthrough of Audio HD codecs
• Support for external audio track
• FFMPEG library is upgraded
• More precious zoom and stretch
• Media scanning and listing Improvements
• Fixed some issues on scanning media files on external storages
• Fixed some artifacts on HW+
• New Keyboard shortcut for adjusting the speed (Ctrl + UP/DOWN)
• Fixed some background playback issues
• Fixed some crashes from 1.9.x
• Minor UI optimizations
• Fixed translations for some languages

Doesn't this mean that codec was changed? Or this concerns 1.9.0 version?

Faint distorted sound
Installed aio_1.8.6 long time ago and had no problem playing mkv. Yesterday worked fine.
Today no sound (faint and distorted even at highest volume). Using mxplayer 1.8.21. tried the new custom codes but none recognized saying need 1.8.6 armv7 neon. The mx_neon didn't work either. Downloaded mx armv7 codec from Play store. Nothing. Advice?

Advice?

Restore the recent TWRP backup you made? Something changed and that should revert the changes.

Not sure what TWRP bakcup is, but I didn't make any backups (the only thing I do is manually transfer files to my PC).
I wonder what could have changed to cause that?
Maybe i should uninstall and reinstall MxPlayer?
