So which version of ffmpeg does 1.9.0 contain? MX just updated their internal library to 3.2.4, but the latest version is like 3.3.2 or something.

We select the stable FFmpeg version rather than the new. FFmpeg 3.2.4 was the latest one when we have started stabilizing the 1.9.x.
We will upgrade the FFmpeg again if it's required. So, no need to worry about it.

still chokes on HEVC 10bit
files play flawlessy on windows 10 with MPC-HC 64-bit v1.7.10 (d911f14)
updated to testing version of mx player pro (2017.07.09) and 2017-06-06 aio codec on shieldtv
the files play however can't seek and on this file it just stopped playing around 27mins.
took forever to get past that point (sw decode is able to seek, so start playback, switch to sw (after enabling it in settings), seek to 29mins, switch back to hw+ for smooth playback

The app version does not always reflect the codec version.
There was no change to the codec.

Faint distorted sound
Installed aio_1.8.6 long time ago and had no problem playing mkv. Yesterday worked fine.
Today no sound (faint and distorted even at highest volume). Using mxplayer 1.8.21. tried the new custom codes but none recognized saying need 1.8.6 armv7 neon. The mx_neon didn't work either. Downloaded mx armv7 codec from Play store. Nothing. Advice?

You can download recent codecs here ( GitHub releases ) and 1.35.0-1.8.6 here ( Google Drive ).
Also the XDA download tab is no longer updated as for some reason I cant remove them.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check which version you need by going to Local Player Settings/Decoder/General
in the Custom Codec tab it will tell you which one is needed (x86,x86_64,neon,neon64/ARMv8).
Note: skip step 1 if your using aio (all in one) version
2. Download the one you need (No need to unzip it)
3. Go back to Local Player Settings/Decoder/General
and tap the Custom Codec tab then select the version you downloaded. DONE!5536Update 1.13.0 is up!!!
