Hello, I'm also using OnePlus 5 (like xXSnowyXx) with exactly same mxplayer random stopping issue. Happens on original stock ROM and many different roms I tried.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this issue. I thought I had bad hardware unit. I see others have posted logs, would posting my logs help more?

@xXSnowyXx
@keepasa

Can you disable battery optimizations & check again? Looks like very aggressive battery optimizations by some OEM causing issues with MX. We are investigating the issue. We will try to get it fixed at the earliest.

Had disabled mxplayer battery optimization at the very beginning. (Settings--battery). I was hoping that was it earlier on. I thank you in advance for your continued efforts & dedication to help resolve this indeed strange issue.

I had a problem like this with Pixel XL but the most recent security update for Android 8.0.0 (October 5) fixed my problems. Don't know if that helps your case...

I guess I can only hope to get the same result when Oreo rolls out proper for the OP5.
