HW+ decoder & SW decoder buffer sizes are handled by the MX Player. Can you explain in which decoder you are having the issues?

I used HW+ decoder and had described issue. I'll also check with other decoders.
I did check for other renders. For HW the issue is not actual. It is working well with HW. But for HW+ and SW it works as I described above. Is it possible to specify buffer size somewhere?

Hello,
Changing aspect ratio doens´t work (it stays the same) on any video. I have had problems with that before, then it fixed itself, now I have the same problems again. What am I doing wrong?

Question:

I'm watching a series. Each episode has dual audio. I want the audio to always default to Japanese. But everytime the next episode starts it goes back to English audio. How do I make it remember my last audio setting?

If the audio track has a language tag, then it's possible through Settings » Audio » Preferred audio language.
If there is no language tag, there is no way to select the particular audio track. MX Player will play the track which has default flag.

I'm having an aspect ratio issue on a brand new Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The "fit to screen" option doesn't work and instead has the same behavior as "100%". All other options work normally, though. Anyone have any ideas?

It may happen if the screen &video aspect ratio, resolutions are same.

You're right. I'm an idiot and the video is letterboxed.
