how to install substratum? | n00b asks stupid questions in hopeless search for help
Hi, I'm a git who's unfamiliar with git. I have lineage os on my phone (moto g3 osprey) and I know how to root it, flashing the zip.
My question
How do I get substratum on lineage os? Do I just root and install, or do I need to use git to merge changes and stuff? idk how to do that bit, merging builds or whatever it is.
step by step guide much appreciated
thank in advance,
idiot loser

Any chance of doing this after rom is built, (maybe smali or something)? Personally, I'm fine with the degree to which Substratum works on LOS as-is, but I know there are many out there who will never build a rom of their own, and dependant on devs who may not be interested.

I'm closing this thread for now. LineageOMS will be updated once we figure out what exactly is needed for Oreo in terms of exposures and rootless support.
