I have a generic Android tablet (SPC) running Marshmallow 6.0.
I was able to unlock the bootloader already.
If I install a custom recovery and then flash SuperSU will my tablet be rooted or is there anything else to do?

Thanks

You need to find custom recovery for specific device. Search in google your device model and add custom recovery xda and see results

I said pretty clearly I have a GENERIC tablet, i.e. a local company SPC. I searched already. There is no custom recovery, I really don't understand go to any store
and like half the tablets are non-brand name. Why is it so hard?

I would never play around with noname device. Its like ghost, no one to blame, no support from product, no development support.
Sell it and buy something real. Good luck.

External similarity reveals nothing about diverse internals. Go back to the place that built it for help or become knowledgeable about fastboot, FlashFire, etc.
