SuperSU 2.82-SR3 in sbin mode + suhideCould you update SuperSU so it works like Magisk and I can pass SafetyNet test/use Android Pay?
How do I do this?
And why would you think it stalled out? There's ongoing development. Will this project continue to move forward or has it stalled out completely?

This is the stable release thread, if you want to see current action check out the beta thread. I even linked to it in the post before yours.
no, that's wrong. I really mean the first screen after power on. You could say pre boot. Opzimizing apps starts after the boot animation. But my issue is that the boot starts after a long delay. I had the issue with 2.79 SR3 and with 2.82. Installed zip in recovery. One device has Samsung's stock ROM, one is running CM13, one LOS14
Try 2.82-SR3 first.I'm also facing the same issue on my mako running stock google factory ROM Lollipop. I flashed TWRP and flashed SuperSU latest version 2.82. But after flashing latter, whenever, i reboot my device, it starts optimizing all apps (which happens when u clear cache from recovery). On uninstalling SuperSU 2.82, this issue went away and my phone would reboot straight to homescreen without any delay.
Now, I'm going to flash SuperSU 2.46 (I had that in my computer), hope it works fine.
This is the stable thread. The SR releases are beta. You should look for help in the beta thread. But without logs, you'll probably be ignored. Try getting a logcat of the point where the lockscreen is an issue.@Chainfire ... sir, whenever I will flash supersu SR. turn on my phone... it makes my lockscreen freeze for a couple of seconds. Unlike the supersu which has no SR everything works fine... but suhide needs SR version

Exactly, I am not a huge fan of people who keep linking to external resources that are far from vetted that can potentially compromise less experienced users, especially with the existence of official documentation and reputable people on a forum that have either answered it repeatedly or can address it if not - which also by proxy makes it a good reference for any future users who might need it.an external site really? There's only 1 guide i'd trust on the official site http://www.supersu.com/
thank you for everything, it will be hard to place trust and faith in other people to do this but I wholeheartedly understand and support your need to free yourself for other endeavors. As such, I wish you all the best and success in whatever you choose to do next.
