HTC Supersonic: EVO 4G

The HTC Evo 4G is Sprint's flagship Android smartphone for the second half of 2010. Originally shipping with Android 2.1 (Eclair), it has since been updated to Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread). The Evo 4G borrows a number of hardware components from the legendary HTC HD2, including the 4.3" WVGA TFT display, giving rise to its unofficial name of the Android version of the HD2. Connectivity is via a CDMA cellular radio that supports both WiMAX and 3G 1xEV-DO. By today's standards, the Evo 4G's 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM are not entirely practical, but this is made up for with a microSD slot that supports up to 32GB. The Evo 4G has an active ROM and modding community which continually pushes out updated version of Android for the device.
