Installing custom rom/rooting phone void the warranty do it at your own risk. :angel:
Download the colorOS here
and place it on root location of internal storage.
make sure phone is charged and have sufficient battery backup.
1. Root your phone
Download this app Framaroot_v.1.8.0.apk and install
Select "super su" and click on "Boromir"
Now reboot
2. Install any recovery (CWM / CTR / TWRP)
Now there are more than one recovery available(thanks to dev.) you can install any of them
download any :
CWM
CTR
TWRP
place the downloaded recovery file on phone's internal storage.
install "mobile uncle tools" from google play store
start mobile uncle accept or Grant the root permission if prompted.
select recovery option and select the download file.
3. Go to recovery
switch off the phone
when phone completely switched off press and hold both volume button and while holding them press the power button for few seconds
release volume key when two options displayed
Vol. up for Recovery
Vol down for factory reset
now press the volume up key to go to recovery.
4. Make a Nandroid backup (optional but suggested in case of any wrong happens)
For CWM/CTR
use volume keys to navigate and power key to open/execute the selected option.
Go to backup & restore
select backup to internal storage
For TWRP
Click on bakcup
and use the slider to start the backup.
5. Install the New ROM
in CWM/CTR
select install from sdcard andin TWRP
select the Rom zip file and
select yes
reboot.
Click on install
select the Rom Zip file
use the slider to start the installation
reboot
