SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems. The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code. All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

Slim7 is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and offers the following original features:

Slim7 is still in its early stages of development so if your favorite feature is not back yet, don't worry more will be added with later releases.
Not Working -
- Wifi Hotspot & USB tethering while data turned ON
- 1080p vid lags in stock gallery(use 3rd party app with SW decoder)
- 3G on SIM 2
Working -
- Camera & Rest everything as far as I know

Flashing instructions -
- Download slim rom zip to your sdcard
- Backup all your partitions for safety
- Wipe data, system, cache
- Flash rom and gapps
- Reboot

Please Note I ain't anyway asking for ETA. It's good to see support for our abandoned sprout. Anyways thanks again

Slim hasn't merged Nov security patch in its sources as of now. Once they merge, I'll give an update.
For camera, device tree isn't stable as of now. So no workaround for that.

From my knowledge, the last lineage os build of samarv-121 has camera working . Will it anyhow help to fix the issue.
Whatsoever pl continue with the support, for our sprout. Thanks btw :laugh:

Great Work. I haven't tested this ROM fully but still it is Smooth overall. I have some issues with this ROM so can't use it as my daily driver. I am reverting back to Stock ROM due to below point no. 2 which is verry annoying issue.

1. SMS can neither be sent nor received on all Nougat ROMs including this one. (See Workaround below)
2. This ROM takes around 1.7 GB after installation unlike Samar's Lineage OS, which takes only around 350MB on internal storage, making more room for apps.

For the SMS related issue I never faced it in Nougat roms, and didn't hear anybody else talking about it either!
The second is not an issue! It shows 1.7GB because it includes /system, /cache, /oem, and other partitions too in it. In actual, the used storage is even lesser than Lineage OS if you check in TWRP
