A cm rom cant be booted up with HTC's default kernel.
You have to compile the kernel from cm sources or make one that is compatible with cm.(HTC's kernel isnt compatible with cm if i am correct.)
If you are using 8916 kernel sources, I think those arent fixed yet for D820u. So unless and until they arent, cm cant boot.
I am glad someone is working on cm for D820u but those sources really need to be fixed for our device for a perfect cm.

Guys, you must understand that we have to wait for MM update because HTC doesn't release any kernel sources for a51ul at LP update, the sources we have now is not sources from developer so we must get a plenty of programmers to get it working (It's not an easy work, especially HTC kernels). So, we must wait for update and official sources and then we'll have straight way to CM and other roms.

I had to flash the original OTA trough bootloader. The partition layout was crashed and there was no os in the bootloader screen.
Now all is fine.

Yup guys, so !
I think that I've not been that very clear about my build ^^. It's for D820 32-bits devices, they use the kernel MSM8916.
If your device is booting in HBOOT, it's because the kernel is not matching with your device's (kernel).

I'm gonna try if something like this can work:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andro...msm8916-common

If anybody can help me on my work, you can add me on Skype: contact.androlark.

Oh ! And my apoligizes for my english, I'm just very very french !

Kernel Branch : https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andro...l_oppo_msm8939
Use this kernel branch instead. I am quite sure you will have more luck here. D820 matches oppo r7plus architeture and chipset.
I think you already have the device tree and vendor blob. Good luck!!

Thanks @vince28, I was pretty sure that a51ul used to match MSM8916, but I'll try your kernel.

Keep you informed asap.

Yup guys, got some (bad) news for you.. :'(
I tried the kernel that @vince28 gived me, but device is booting only in fastboot mode (wrong kernel).
I tried to build boot.img from prebuilt kernel of HTC's boot_signed.img too, but CM is not recognized (I think, stuck on HTC powered by Android screen for 15 minutes..).

Actually, your help is needed more than ever..
