Asus ZenFone Zoom
The Asus ZenFone Zoom, due for release in Q1 2015, is an Android smartphone that features a 13MP camera with 3X optical zoom. The camera comprises a number of sliding lenses in order to achieve the optical zoom, without the need for an extending lens on the rear. Asus claim the Zenfone Zoom to be the worlds thinnest smartphone to feature a 3X optical zoom camera. Other camera features include a laser-guided auto-focus, zero shutter lag and professional-grade manual control mode.
The device is powered by a 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom quad-core processor. It comes with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM and 16/32/64/128GB of internal storage, depending on region. The Zenfone Zoom has a 5.5" 1080p IPS display and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
