Samsung Nexus S
The Samsung Nexus S is Google’s second Nexus device. It was the first Android phone to feature a curved glass screen, which carried over to its successor, the Galaxy Nexus. It was also the first Android device to feature Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which has since been updated officially to 4.1 Jelly Bean. Inside, it has a 1GHz single-core Samsung Hummingbird (retroactively renamed Exynos 3 Single) processor with half a gig of RAM. It’s available with 16GB of storage, and it lacks the option to add a microSD card. There are two variants of this device, the GT-I9020, which has an AMOLED display with a PenTile matrix, and the GT-I9023, which features an S-LCD display. Both have WVGA resolution.
