To say that the Samsung Galaxy Note is an atypical device is a bit of an understatement. The device's large, 5.3" WXGA Pentile HD Super AMOLED display sets it apart from other phones and tablets, and has generated very polarizing opinions. However, despite detractors the phone has been a commercial success, selling 5 million units in Q1 2012. In addition to the 1.4 GHz dual-core Exynos 4210 processor, full gigabyte of RAM, and 16 or 32 gigs of storage, the Note also packs active digitizer support dubbed S Pen, which uses pressure-sensitive Wacom technology.
