@Wolfcity I've tried flashing it. I've set the max speed to second highest value. Does first boot after kernel flashing take a very long time? Mine was lagging..a bit and it didn't even boot up even after 3-4 minutes. Is this a boot issue? What to do now?

Normally no, it should boot up almost similar as before. Seems you device/rom doesn't play well with that kernel. Ask the developer if he has heard of such issues or go back to RR kernel by just dirty flashing the rom. Just wipe cache and dalvik and flash RR again, than you're back on RR kernel.
Or if you have a nandroid backup (you always should) restore it.

There are not so many. Alize, Extended and ElementalX as far as I remember.
You have to check it out by yourself, it depends on your needs and the settings made in Kernel Auditor or similar apps.

This is for 7.0 stock. You'll have to wait till official oreo comes out for the update to this.
