Nice, will add a link to that post in the section about 64-bit roms. So much happening in that space so fast- I just saw an example of the new ported portrait mode from the pixel 2 working a 64-bit PE rom on our phones. Wild stuff!

Yes, you are right. When I cleaned up the text for better formatting I must have accidentally grabbed the word "or" from the next line as part of the syntax. Fixing it now.

Apparently someone in the camera mod group on Telegram just posted an example of this working on his G5+. But it suffers from the focus drift issue we had in early ports of gcam, and as expected it needs an x64 rom to run. There's a chance Savitar/defcomg or others will apply a fix to the focus the same way we had previous apps, but this will likely never work on stock roms (or anything 32-bit).

So focus is fixed? Any idea what 64 bit rom this will work? I was having issues with Google cameras on most of them. I've unrooted and went back to stock but this is making me want to flash twrp and mess around again.

Actually I've decided to flash pixel experience and try it and I can't get hdr+ to work with your settings, or at all.

Working fine for me. Uninstall every other camera mod before installing this and use my settings. If it isn't focusing, disable HDR then it will start focusing. Then enable HDR and shoot.

If you are using pixel experience you have to remove the stock camera.

Just use system app remover? Or any specific method?
