Thnx for the ROM. Working fine and smooth. Play store gave me one time error but that could be an temporary comlink malfunction. After that it's working without any problems. I don't experience more than normal battery behavior.

Chopped SD card in two partitions and gave link2sd a try. Also that is working without any problems. So far the best ROM I’ve seen for the GT S5830i.

Interest is there but not many use s5830 these days. And kudos to all developers for keeping s5830 alive .

Note: Just one request. If possible keep gapps separate. It'll be useful for those who doesn't have/use SD partition.

sorry I missed your post.
mmm not sure if partitioning changed for cm11 rom? Flashing a stock rom using odin will reset if required.
Rom install script will auto format partitions to ext4.
You'll need cwm 5.x to flash it.
There are no "engines" installed (not required). You'll find this rom a much quicker experience.

Upgraded from Nutella ME v3.0 to NougatME today to find the torch doesn't work. It's now in the drop-down menu, together with hotspot, (nice) but it'd be good if the torch turned on.

I'm definitely interested, and will give it a try, if you see fit to "git 'er dun".

In the meantime, once again, thanks for your efforts on this ROM, and of course, Zane, for gettin' this ROM happenin' in the 1st place!!! :good: I just installed it on my step-daughter's backup phone, and as with the Marshmallow Pecan ROM, it seems to work quite nicely..... although, admittedly, I only tinkered around with it a wee bit. Now that I've experimented a bit, I'll have to install it on my wife's backup phone, and play around with it a bit more in-depth.

Out of curiosity, is this ROM still being worked on by anybody? Wondering if the missing/non-working items, like the flashlight & Bluetooth, will ever be working...... might be better to just stick with Marshmallow Pecan.

Does it need testing to see if the entire thing works, or just to see if some of the hopefully fixed items work, such as what I mentioned? Since you don't have this phone, would I be safe in assuming your previously mentioned S7 ROM won't be happening? Also, do you have any idea if Ri9000 has lost interest?

Well if everything went well the update nougat me (lineage os style) should work without bugs but I do not know if the zip boot The rom s7 is unfortunately abandoned project

New Nougat_Me port

Here is @Zane's latest (14/4/2017) Nougat_Me for our S5830 device.
needs more testing but looks good on my phone. @Canfod here you go!
Zane your Cooper.zip works nicely, I replaced the kernel with a stock CM7.2 and wifi driver etc. Also made "adjustments" to make the rom scroll through photos quicker.
It installs very fast and looks just like the latest Android on our S5830. Thankyou Zane.
