Method2: You can try to receive the update by doing this ( http://techbeasts.com/change-csc-in-samsung-galaxy-devices/ ) then change the csc code to INS ( INS is India region code) and then see if you receive marshmallow update

This didnt worked for me. I didnt even got an popup.

on my j500fn Italy wrong. and it takes a few seconds and when you restart the phone remains on your phone's home screen and restarts indefinitely

It shows that when i hit the reboot system after flashing the rom! it shows the samsung galaxy j5 screen then it starts with a blue line in the middle of the screen then it washes out the entire screen with yellow! i don't have hangouts nor telegram, pm me your skype

Yeah exactly they are 2 different than they seem
Also like i mentioned before marshmallow has new security features which makes it just impossible installing it on the j500f as a flashable rom in recovery Only if you flashed the odin marshmallow version then you could technically install this flashable

the problem is not the ROM itself! in this case the Kernel is not the apropriate kernel! you must flash it separately via Odin, but you have to find any kernel which is compatible with 6.0.1 Marshmallow, otherwise it wont work and you will get into bootloop!

So you're saying that this works on a j500fn with Android 5.1.1 with the right kernel?
