Hello XDA Friends,

What I got here is a working DSP Manager for 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Its a flashable zip that will add the correct files in system folder for the app to work

Note:This Zip Will Delete MusicFX.apk And Replaces It With DSPManager.apk

Confirmed and tested working:
CM 10.2
Slimbean 4.3
ParanoidAndroid
Stock Roms
Nexus 4
Galaxy Nexus
Nexus 7
Nexus 7 (2013)
Galaxy S4
Galaxy S3
Galaxy S2
It should also work for other 4.3 Roms

Instructions:
1. Download Attached File http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2173281&stc=1&d=1375933426
2. Copy Into Your Phones SdCard
3. Reboot/Boot Into Recovery (CWM/TWRP)
4. Flash DSP.zip
5. Wipe Cache, Davik Cache and Fix Permission
6. Reboot

Will this help with low speaker volume on a 4.3 ROM?

Title says it all, running Carbon on an AOSP ROM and the volume level sucks.

Wondering if I can use DSP manager to help boost speaker volume.

DSP is simply a EQ for your music, your gonna need some kind of kernel or ROM mod to tweak your volume level

whoaa @ElliSkyline i dono what you did there mate but my audio latency just went really low and its awesome. im ruunning catcalysm rom and flashed this along with it ! love your work man ! you rock

@ElliSkyline heres a zip file contaning the latest dsp manager from cm10.2 which is now holofied its from todays nightlies i only changed the apk to this and edited the updater script a little

Disregard - it was baked in. I didn't even look, I'm used to just flashing DSP Manager with any new rom I try.

It does work on the new 4.3 slim ROM but not with double twist. I got great sound out of the stock Google music app but I hate the UI of it. I can't get Real Player to load so I can test it.

Has anyone got this to work on double twist?

I flashed this and got bootloop... Perhaps there's a solution for that? Original worked just fine.

weird, what rom are you on ? mine booted just fine. that to on cm10.2 ,catacalysm and rascarlo's build. can any1 else confirm ? if it happens to any1 else i'll remove the link
