well i was concerned about it, but i didnt post it on xda. so it must have been someone else. i think mine is imported. its not the one sold in the the google play market. so i figured my warranty will not be good in the US

No, not good in the us but if it was purchased through expansys or negri they will send it back to the uk for repair on your behalf.
yeah i just straight traded for my gs2 for this phone so the warranty would be no good. but i do have tmobiles insurance and one of the guys at the store said my insurance would replace it with another phone just not the galaxy nexus since tmobile doesnt carry it.
FWIW, my Internet connection at home is 20Mbps--and my GN gets this speed whether it's on 11g or 11n.what a mess
my good old Galaxy S has done 2MB/s as my Asus TF101
my Laptop is between 6-8 MB/s on 811n and big files without any problem
but the Galaxy Nexus i9250 GSM goes not beyond 1MB/s
this is far to low :-(
I saw article where they talked about 4MB/s maybe they mixed up MegaByte and MegaBit because 4 MBit is what we get
even my daughters PSP is faster than is Galaxy Lexus
Were you the one who was going to trade someone on craigslist but were concerned about the warranty?
This might be premature, but when installed Jelly Bean to my Nexus, WIFI; for the first time ever seems to be working. Ill update again later to see if this is actually true.
Haha my wifi has finally been fixed! I, like you, have never had a working wifi on gnex, and was pissed at google.samsung. Until now lol. Thank you jellybean. Seems like somehow they fixed the wifi issue. For the rest of you having issues, try jellybean and see if it works for you.
So I have successfully downloaded 160+ apps, had wifi on all day without a hitch.
I am esteemed that I have a fully functional phone and won't be having to buy a GSIII or paying any extras for Data overages.
I had even sent this thing out for repair, and they still didn't touch the WIFI.
The only thing is that google could have been a little more 'up front' about this issue.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Im assuming you are downloading huge files using WiFi... there is a notorious bug still unresolved on DHCP leasing time. If your route is settled to infinite (0 or ffffffff) a local timeout of few minutes is applied, thus the download broke and resume time by time because dhcp renewal. To fix this try to adjust your route settings indicating a discrete leasing time (i.e. 24 hours or 2 days) and thi should fix this specific issue (also noticeble when watching youtube videos, that may freeze after few minutes).
Hope this helps.
