Sent you an email this morning.I have donated, but I'm not finding the ten digit code. Where do I find it?
I am not able to get my bootloader unlock on my verizon GNex, i have gone both routes, the toolkit and the manual method through command prompt. The only explanation I have is that Im running windows 8. Im not sure if thats related since the drivers installed and i was able to use fastboot. I never get promted in the bootloader to unlock.
Help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
I recently flashed the latest 4.1.1 JB using this toolkit and was successful in doing so. I want to return to my previous stock OS ICS 4.0.4. My motive here is that I want to try the CM9 (stable). SO if there is a direct way to do so then kindly let me know. Otherwise too just guide me regarding the same. Tried to find a proper step by step procedure using the same toolkit but couldn't. Hence posting the query. I have already downloaded the stock 4.0.4 yakju-imm76i-factory-8001e72f.tgz from the links.
Apologies if already answered somewhere. Thanks.
Don't run Windows 8, or put a XP/7 VM on there. I actually do not think that Windows 8 is your problem, but rather that you do not have the correct drivers installed or are not using a reliable USB port.

Use my tool. It's for that single purpose.
I think that's the stock recovery. CWM didn't stick for you.

im trying to return my phone to stock but i had IMM76Q to start and if i flash IMM76K i cant take it back to verizon can i? will they notice that its a K and not Q?
I am trying to run this on my laptop at the moment and when I plug the phone in everything goes fine and the computer recognizes the phone is there but the toolkit does not recognize it. Even though I have my phone on 4.0.4 should I still pick option 11 like the video says? I dont really feel the phone needs to be rooted and flashed except for battery performance. I've rooted and flashed plenty of phones before I am just new to the Nexus family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I keep getting this error when i try to backup everything for the first time,
registery editing has been disabled by your administrator, then is closes the tool kit
im on win7 32bit
ThanksAmazing thread! This thread would probably be really helpful for newbies
Just a few suggestions:
1.)You might want to include how to flash custom kernels
and also that you can
2.)Clockwork Recovery can be instealled through Rom Manager
Nonetheless, great thread
