After a bit of work, I got this working WITH KEYBOARD.

TWRP:
Using highest version of TWRP available for this tablet... (2.8.7)
download... https://dl.twrp.me/p4noterf/twrp-2.8.7.0-p4notewifi.img.html

2. Wipe everything, then flash this CM 13 package

3. I had issues installing gapps but got it to work by choosing ARM/6.0/nano on the following page. Install this right after CM13, before restart.
download... https://opengapps.org/

4. Once you get into CM13, you will have no keyboard. Do what you need to do to get past all the setup screens. Once you can get to your file manager, you can install apps without a keyboard. Installing multiple keyboards, you'll find them ALL to fail to show up. I found out ai.type keyboard however will eventually work (kinda). Download an apk and put it on the tablet via SDcard or however you can. Once you install it, open and it will walk you though enabling it. Once enabled, go somewhere you need to type and click the line. The keyboard won't show BUT the top row for whatever reason DOES show. This keyboard has an up and down arrow on a button on the right. If you press this button, BAM the keyboard shows up. It's a minor inconvenience to simply press this button to get your software keyboard.

Battery problem

Does anyone knows how to edit the battery capacity file in this cm-13?
In this os, the battery capacity is given 2100 mah but i am using gt-N8010 which has a maximun battery capacity of 7000 mah.
So my battery drains very fast when my battery level reaches 50%... I think my tab is only using only 2100 mah of the battery.
Is there any way to fix this problem?

Sorry for my bad english :(

How to install:
Follow the usual procedure,

Hello all. Brand-new Android user here with a hand-me-down GT-N8013. I need to update the OS from its current 4.1.2 to at least 4.4.2 in order to do useful things with it. Threads like this seem promising but rely on implicit knowledge that I don't have. Is there a walkthrough anywhere that would step me through what to do?

Cursor is not visible

Sorry wrong thread. Cant seem to delete this post so am adding this line.

First post here. Sorry to bump an old thread but I flashed my N8000 with LOS 14 a week ago. It is really great and I love it. However, since the last two days, I have been pulling my hair with this mouse cursor being invisible issue. I have a bluetooth keyboard with trackpad that I use with my S7 on stock rom as well has my laptop but on my N8000, there is no cursor visible. The scrolling and click all work but I cannot know where I am clicking. When I rotate the screen, I am able to see the cursor for a split second but then it disappears again. Also, if I enable simulation of secondary displays in developer options, I am able to see the cursor in the simulated screens. I tried using another mouse, Logitech M557 but got the same result. After many searches, I have also tried making the cursor larger in settings and even editing the framework-res.apk replacing drawable-mdpi image of pointer_arrow but nothing has solved this problem. I am using Ease Mouse as a temporary solution to locate the pointer but it hinders full mouse capability like scrolling and such. I am almost at the end of my wits and am thinking of removing Lineage OS altogether but would be grateful if someone could point me to a solution. I was wondering whether I am the only one facing such a problem, in which case reflashing might solve it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This ROM doesn't work on my N8000 with Baseband N8000XXUDNH1

If your N8000's WiFi can connect to WPA2 networks with this ROM, please share your baseband on the N8000 Baseband Collection thread to help facilitate future N8000 ROM development.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.
It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    How to install:
Follow the usual procedure, important things is to use supported recovery, you can download it from the download section.
Others recovery will not be supported!
Also if you come from another ROM, full wipe is required.

    FAQ:
    • Which Gapps to use? the one officially supported by Cyanogenmod, you can get them here
    • After installing ROM + Gapss, GApps keep crashing: Just update your recovery with the provided twrp.
    • Keyboard does not work: enable hardware keyboard in settings.
    • If you don't want to see cursor while using S-Pen, you can disable it it in settings / inputs
    • Camera is not working: use google camera
