Did anyone ever figure this out? I researched threads where it was requested, but it seemed like there wasn't much developer interest.
I recently picked one up and think it could be very useful if I could make calls and send SMS messages from it, but those abilities seem to have been ripped out.
I do see that the phone app is listed in the App Manager among all of the apps on the device, but doesn't appear to be accessible. Is there any way I can make it accessible? Any insight/help would of course be appreciated; thanks and happy new year!
