I'm a noob, just small questions...
Is this ROM available for Note 2 (N7100)?
And are there any charging problems like v5.8.3 for N7100 was taking almost forever to charge from 0% - 100%
Thank you.

Here is Galaxy Note II N7105 Android Development -> [ROM][7.1.2][UNOFFICIAL] ResurrectionRemix v5.8.5 [T0LTE]

This doesn't happen all the time but anyone else have issues with notification sounds not playing? My phone will sometimes vibrate but the sound will either not play at all or play like literally .2 seconds of the notification sound and then stop... dunno if this is a ROM issue or a 7.1 issue or just a phone issue, never had this on the stock ROM though.

No issues with ROM ... But have a question is anyone else experiencing issues with applying a theme since the latest update of Substratum app in play store ?

Just tried a different theme last night and it installed fine. I know you probably do this, but... If you have any problem with themes, try uninstall the current theme overlays, reboot, then start over. Also, make sure to choose the OS at the top before trying to apply theme if the theme is set up for multiple versions... N, Oreo etc. Both Pitch Black and Onyx work fine for me with the newest Substratum. Also, make sure to install the latest versions of all the apps you want to theme.

I just came across this ROM. Installed v5.8.5 on my I317M. Everything works fine but I have dark screen during call. I searched through the this forum; it was mentioned earlier but seems to have been fixed. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

If you are talking about calendar notifications... there is a commit that will be in the next build that should fix it. It only seemed to happen on 1st notification after reboot, after that it worked fine.

Btw, to everyone.... I'm just waiting for the Jan security updates to get pushed to put out the next build. If you need a fix, I can do a build sooner? Nothing really exciting since last build (and nothing added to RR sources), that's why I haven't done one for a while. Sounds like there will be another update to Magisk in near future. I already updated to 15.2, but he is adding some things to fix some module problems.

Nah just notifications in general, only noticed it with Discord notifications but that's pretty much the only notifications I get lmao. I think I also noticed it with emails though, and when I go to my sound settings to like change the ringtone and I try to play the ringtones some of them wont work when it's happening but they'll work when the notifications are playing fine, they'll either not play at all or they'll play like half of it and then stop.

I was looking for a way for my phone to stop charging after a predetermined charge percent because falling asleep with your phone plugged in isn't usually good.
I was losing battery pack charging because it wouldn't stop after it was charged..
So on magisk I found this.. Stops at 90 percent and won't charge till it drops below 80..
You can change the stop and go points
But I use it just the way it is...
Works for me... Save your battery.
Magic charge switch FTW

Just an update...

Security updates have been out for a couple days, but haven't been updated in RR sources. Actually, nothing has been updated in RR sources except a couple of translation commits in 2 weeks.

If they don't update in a couple days, I'll try to fork all the necessary repos, and update everything myself. It's a pain in the ass, and a lot of extra time on my part doing it, so going to give them a little more time.

Another possible bad news for us... they have started moving towards O with a couple commits. Once they start with O ROM's, they will probably stop all N support :( ... so I may have to do everything myself anyway, since we are a LONG way from getting a stable O on our device.

So, possibly a couple more days till new ROM here.

Oh yeah, last thing... For the few people that want/need it, I got 'power off charging' working (at least on my device), and will be in next update.

    New build up...

June security updates and updated all new commits

I'll try to keep this up for as long as I can, but it's getting to be a pain having to manually update each commit. If it was a just a simple syncing of sources, it would be a breeze... but I have to go through each and every commit (which can be 50 or more each month) and can take a few hours if there is a lot of conflicts when things don't pick cleanly because of the way RR is built. RR hasn't updated anything for 7.1 in months, that's why I have to do everything manually myself :( but it's the only way to have this continue since we most probably won't ever see Oreo on this device.... And it's summer time and I have lost desire to work on this. This is more of a winter time thing for me when I can't get outside :D

If that new, updated kernel ever comes out from fourkbomb, that will probably re-energize me to get into this again... here's hoping for good luck to him on his project :fingers-crossed:

    New build up

This is what would be the last "official" build. All official builds for N are done after this one, and have to have to have "final" in the title. Since this isn't official, I'll keep building as normal, but the updates from now on will be mostly just updates from LineageOS and if I do kernel updates. I may slow down the builds to every 2 weeks or so, depending on if there is anything worth warranting a build. For instance, there was only 4 or 5 commits for the whole week for LineageOS (and those were nothing special), and there was no updates for over a week in RR sources, so no real reason to do a build. There will still be monthly security updates, so don't worry about that. I'm still doing a monthly build for los13.0 when the security updates come out, so we should be good for quite a while... hopefully till we can make O work on our device (fingers crossed)

As far as building for O.... plan on it taking a few months, maybe more, if it happens at all. All of us are busy with different things in life right now, and you have no idea how much time messing with this takes when trying to get a new version started. But, once we have something available worth flashing, it will be posted for you to try. So no asking for ETA's !!! You will be put on my ignore list and never get removed if you do.

Ok, now that that is done :D ...

As usual, before flashing, use the Magisk uninstall. There is a new version from this month in the official Magisk thread, use that one. There is the new Magisk 14 in this build btw. If you have problems with it, you can use the uninstall and go back to 13, or change to different SU if you desire. I've been on 14 for a while since it 1st came out and it's fine, but I also don't use any of the modules, only use it for root.

*And yes, the source for the security updates for September were finally released and are included in this build.

Here is new link for latest ROM, since I deleted the old one.

I was actually extremely close to closing the thread and delete all the ROM's from AFH.
I even started deleting them, but didn't want one person to ruin it for everyone.

I will probably still only post new ROM's once or twice a month.
There was only a few commits added in the last month, so no real reason to build more often.
If there is something worthwhile added, I'll build more often.

    New build up

RR hadn't updated any commits for 3 weeks, so I thought they were done with N and moved on to O. With that thought, I started going back the last 3 weeks and manually adding all the commits that wern't added from Linage. Almost got done after a few hours going through every commit to see if they were included now, then I check RR and they finally started updating their files  , so I was waiting till they were done. Security updates didn't come until a few days ago, but now everything should be updated including the new RIL additions.... Again, sorry for the delay.
