So I'll try downgrading to 4.4.2. VD2 first. Thanks!

Oh...nice.
I just removed the battery, put it back in and the phone would boot up normally again without going into the firmware upgrade error screen.
I expected it to boot back into the leaked 5.0 that was on it before the "unsuccessful" flash, it took a while for it to optimized all my 313 apps but it finally booted up.

And: tadaa - checking device information showed me that in fact the flash was a full success!

I'm on N9005XXUGBOA1 now.
All apps and settings untouched.

And the best thing: finally my smartwatch bluetooth re-connection issues have gone, the gear 2 connected instantly after entering the SIM pin and unlocking the screen!

Lindex = Happy!

try disabling the reactivation lock if it is enabled :

Two questions, if I flash this would I be able to root? Any custom kernel works on L, like Faux?

And is Xpoaed framework working with this?

Okay, I'm about to flash the Polish unbranded release on a UK unlocked N9005.

Quick question first, will this reset the region lock whereby the first 5 minutes of a call (or something like that) need to be from the region of purchase?

Thanks in advance!

Installed the Polish 5.0 Version on my German Unlocked N9005.
Been testing it for 20 mins and seems to work great.

Has anyone tried to upgrade using Mobile Odin Pro?
I believe that using Mobile Odin Pro you could upgrade and keep root and knox 0 but I wonder if anybody tested that on N9005.

Here is the information for G900:

If you flash Vodafone you will end up with a shed load of Vodafone junk!! It's bad enough with the Samsung crap everywhere!

if you have model N9005, unlocked, then you can flash the Polish one without any issues. Most of us used the XEO when Kit kat was issued to Poland way before we, in the UK, were graced with it's presence.

My final bit of advice.......Check what you need, read the relevant information and then repeat twice more!! Be sure you know what you are doing.
