In post # 16 I was thinking of installing my ROM, NOT root method

I can confirmed it works on
XSP N9005DXUFNG2 with your method.
Knox is cool.

Update: "unathourised actions detected. restart to undo unathourised changes"
I am coming directly from XSP Sg NG2. After restart, it prompted the same thing again.
Any advise?

You have used Kernel from N9005XXUFNG2, but your original kernel is N9005DXUFNG2

I'm not able to download all ROMs available...

The easiest way - extract your ROM (*.tar.md5 file) using 7zip, and then flash boot.img via Mobile Odin Pro (load boot.img as KERNEL)

Thanks for highlighting that! Did as you told and now looks like everything in order. Thanks so much.

Got to say thank you since now my note 3 is rooted.

Initially confused between rom and kernel as i've downloaded the roms (yes, both XXUEND3 and XXUFNF4 as i downloaded them before for other method of rooting), flashing and failed to get root for the device. Then I notice the word kernel there after carefully reading post #1.

Hope this is lesson learned for others as well.

Big thanks again to _alexndr.
Thanks man...

Can confirm that this works on NEE UFNG2. Rooted without any problems and KNOX is still 0x0.

Thanks!
