Samsung uses a proprietary image resources file called QMG and can be seen throughout Samsung ROMS from app resources to boot animations. Unfortunately, stock android just doesn't support QMG file format. So with a little bit of recording, video editing, and, conversion, I managed to create my zip versions from various Samsung boot animations from the old Touchwiz NatureUX up to the newest, OneUI version.

General Features
  • Based from original Samsung Boot Animations
  • Made from After Effects (or)
  • Some are recorded via High-Speed shutter-capable camera
  • Tweaked to removed Halo, Noise, and other unnecessary effects to improve quality
  • Full HD Quality 1080P

Samsung TouchWiz ROMS uses QMG format for the bootanimations, and as we all know we can't just take it and use it on stock AOSP, so I've converted it to video then to images to be compiled in a zip and there you have it, a Stock Samsung bootanimation.zip

It's a little bit blurry because I didn't really convert bootsamsung.qmg, i've found some S9 and S8 bootanimation videos in YouTube then converted it into PNG files. If I have time, I'll try editing it to become smoother and to make it more HD :cowboy:
I advise editing directly from qmg compressed images. Extracting from any youtube video whatever quality will make blurred/low quality images.

It didn't change mine. I'm using Havoc OS 3.7 on a Galaxy Note 5.

Edit: Nevermind. Found out it's only for the note 3. You should put an assert on the file so it can't install on other phones.

Edit #2: I found out that I didn't say this here, but you can just drag and drop the bootanimation.zip (not the flashable one) unto system/media using the file manager on TWRP.

Some ROMs change build.prop of device so it doesn't look like note 3 even though the device is actually note 3. Users are responsible with reading what they are flashing.

Hey! GREAT WORK... I was hoping you could do the same for my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra please. I'm willing to donate in order to obtain these files. I grab the separate images as my backgrounds. I'D SINCERELY APPRECIATE IT!

Since the Nougat-Pie black version was blurry, I created a flashable zip file based on the white one. I inverted every image and it turned out nice.

Edit: The one on with the bootanimation.zip name isn't the one that's flashable.

If you are running a gsi or a custom rom , the boot animation is automatically changed to normal .zip files , qmg ones are to be used only with stock one ui

How did you extract the lollipop ones, directly from the QMG file??

Ok, you have to change the name to PowerOn.ogg, copy it to system\media\audio\ui\
If the sound doesn't play, give rwx rwx rwx in attributes
