I noticed today that when wearing polarized sunglasses I can't view the screen in portrait mode due to the polarizing on the screen, it just looks pretty much black. I have to turn it to landscape to view it properly.

Has anyone else noticed the same? I upgraded from an S7 which didn't have this issue, I thought it may be a polarized screen protector maybe but would prefer to check before removing it.

Thanks in advance!

I saw this the other day myself and googled it. There are a bunch of reports on the Samsung Community page about this where they discovered that it is the pre-installed screen protector and not the phone itself.

I'm debating whether to remove it. I usually go without a screen protector and my S8+ has taken quite a beating with no marks on the screen so I should be happy to remove it, but...hemming and hawing...

Ah yep, lots more reports since I posted now. Just found this one too, https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/c...r_doesnt_work/

They've got photos of it being removed, seems strange they used a polarized protector on it. I'm the same, debating on swapping it to one I had ordered, but at the same time, it's on there so neatly and I'm bound to get bubbles...
