you still have to use magisk hide afterwards.
zgcam and stock cam shows black and crashes. They worked till some days before. Is it a bug of latest lineageos or is it irrelevant? Thank you
Same with me earlier it was working properly from today onwards the stock app keeps on crashing.

It's simply the best built I have used among four lineage os official builds for 4different phones. I refuse to have a Google or apple account because it disturbs me and so far it was causing me issues with my work as I was using imperfect builds. This phone is also a very good one when everything from Samsung and Google has been discarded. The second camera is even working, thank you for developing the second camera app ! The only small drawback apart from the mentioned proprietary volte drivers is the main camera stabilisation that is inoperative (I guess proprietary drivers as well). The installation process was a bit complex, It would be better to add some more steps and explanations like someone did on the first page. The most difficult was probably to find the last Samsung firmware compatible with your last build. It would also be great to add in the instructions that the magisk boot IMG has to be flashed in twrp after flashing the los zip with the install menu of twrp (and not sideload). Thanks again, it's the first time I feel I will be able to uae a phone fore more than a year.
One question : for update, will we receive the automatic update through the system menu in los or should we check this thread frequently for a new zip build ?
Why isn't this built official?

I usually do it as a dirty flash, ie I just flash the new image on the old version. Usually I wipe cache, but never (up to now) data.
I'm not sure about GAPPs though, because I never use them.

I did the dirty flash first but after rebooting to system it says pixel luncher keeps stoping so i reboot to twrp recovery and flashed the gapps and reboot to system.
And everything works fine then.
Expect the camera app it keeps on saying ( camera app keep stopping).
Hello, Keyboard text correction is not working as on other builds : wrongly spelled words are not underlined in red, is this something unique to my set up or is there something I can to to remedy to this little issue ?

i unlocked my bootloader, patched the TWRP tar-file with magisk on the stock rom, flashed it with odin, and whenever i install LineageOS via TWRP the usual LineageOS Bootscreen animation apears and stays there for several minutes until the phone restarts.
Any suggestion what am i doing wrong?

Make sure you are on Q stock firmware (All of the Q firmwares are tested and confirmed to be working, This should be the case with new fws too as long as Samsung doesnt significantly change bootloader trustzone bits)
Download Q twrp from this thread
flash twrp as per given instructions
if you are coming from stock and have encryption enabled format data (Note i said format, Wiping it in twrp is not the same as formating it)
wipe cache, dalvik cache and system
flash LineageOS
If you want to have gapps flash them right after flashing the rom before first booting
Reboot the device

Magisk boot images are provided within each device folder named beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img you can flash them on boot slot and install magisk manager, No need to worry about rebooting to recovery or not having TWRP and magisk at the same time, Just make sure you dont try to boot to system with magisk patched TWRP as that might cause issues but as long as you have stock twrp and have flashed beyond*lte-boot-magisk.img image to boot slot you are fine, Source for given kernel is available at GitHub if you want to compile kernel yourself just run source build.sh devicename e.g. source build.sh beyond2lte, It will produce new boot image in build/ folder, To update magisk you can follow instructions given at this commit enjoy
Do note that you will have to reflash magisk boot image when updating rom37New build is up sorry for delays on this one but there was weird bug caused by samsungs power hal which took way longer than it should to be fixed, Magisk is independent of recovery as promised you can read more info about it in 3rd post on main page, There are a lot of other smaller improvements all around, Rest of the source for developers to compile other roms will be up soon (Just doing some final cleanup of proprietary bits and pieces)
Also big thanks to anyone who supported this project by covering build server cost and stuff and I'm really sorry for delays with this build but things should be pretty straightforward from this point3028New update is almost ready for release from extensive testing i only noticed 1 small issue that needs to be fixed before release(that being sec power hal)
And more great news is that you won't need any custom recovery for magisk root anymore as it will reside within boot images for those that want to use it, that also means there won't be need to reboot to recovery/hold key combo to boot rooted with magisk
