I dont have the NFC chip in my Bell phone so I assume this package should work?

Exactly there are a few reviews out there with people not getting their stuff delivered. Being a company in this business they should not have such reviews. Better safe then sorry.

Edit: you should get the non nfc version with STD at the end in the product code.

i highly recommend this official Samsung extended battery. minimum 1.5 days for me on this one. phone still looks nice even after added thickness.

what do i need to do

Hello guys, just got the extended battery, put it in the phone (switched off) and charged it up overnight.
battery calibrated after booting and will now test. But now im worried i calibrated it "to late", meaning i should have done it before charging the battery. any thoughts?

I have about 4200mV when charged up to 100%.

I think you will find if you give it a couple of charge cycles all will be good.

I'm really happy with the performance of Samsung extended battery kit so far. Phone usually lasted only half day for me but with this new kit I could have my phone standy all day without having to charge it once

I bought this battery from eBay a while back....its very good u get about 30% More juice....doesn't make it much heavier nor much bigger.

One thing to watch out....if u have an international no NFC Version of sgs2 and u buy the battery made for a galaxy that has NFC (eg. Korean version) the cover supplied with the battery won't fit well with ur fone...that's what happend when I got it.

Now I use a case to hold the back cover in place (one that is covered well from the sides)
No big deal but just keep it in mind. Cheers

Got a question about battery temp, what's the average temp you guys are seeing with this battery after the screen has been on for a hour or so, I've been running this extended battery for a couple of weeks with no problems but earlier this morning I went to charge the battery after having used the phone for an hour or so web browsing and the phone flagged up a warning about charging failed due to the battery temp being too low or too high, upon checking apparently my battery was at 67c!!! :eek:

The back of the phone wasn't hot to the touch, heck it wasn't even warm & in the past I've had a much hotter feeling back cover when I was using the battery that came with the phone and never had any warnings about temps.

Anyway I turned the phone for a while and then pluggged in the charger & it charged ok, although I'm either imagining it or the battery was charging slower than usual, battery temp at the moment with the phone idle and screen off was 29c when I checked a minute ago.

Battery door not closing properly

Hey guys,

I just got the extended battery (white). But there is a problem. One side of the battery door does not close properly (top right). Rest of the door clicks into place except that one side. Has this happened to anyone else? I bought mine from ebay, the seller is legit. Kind of dissapointed.

    Soo my extended battery finally arrived. It is genuine samsung battery that comes with new backplate. The battery is a little bit thicker so it makes the phone 1mm thicker. On the other hand it hides and protects the camera lens, it feels better in the hand and its cheap, only 23 euro ! Without further talking Pictures: (I will add pictures of the kit with the phone later cause my sister took my digital camera and as you know, the phone cant take pictures of itself :p Though Im going to try some troll mirror technology later today :D

    So as you can see its genuine samsung battery, Doesnt add too much bulk, its high quality, just what I wanted. I wanted bigger battery but I hate those ugly bulky cheap plastic batteries.

    Battery life results will be availible later, because I just bought the battery 10 minutes ago :D Ill do both "normal phone usage" comparisons and also 100-0 screen on 100perecnt cpu load tests.

    Edit: Also a little bonus which doesnt really show anything I didnt have time to play with the phone, Im still on my first charge cycle with some gameplay (around 45min) of dungeon defenders. The rate at which the percent drop is noticeably lower, also the phone doesnt get so hot which is a good thing.

    Well it seem I am getting a lot of PMs if I can buy and send them over. So Ive decided Ill go through with it I just hope I dont run into trouble with this so.

    If you are not able to buy one in you country or the date of the first batch is too far away (you have to take the shipping time into account) Drop me a pm (even if you already did, ive cleaned up my inbox.

    Dont send me your adresses right now, just send me a PM with the requested quantity (for your friends etc) and shipping/payment method (paypal is prefered).     Ill make some tonight. My sister has my camera so I cant take them now, Though I must say it looks great, basically the thickness is only added where the original backplate was and now it matches with the thickness of the bottom part where the speaker is. It looks completely natural plus the camera lens is now deeper and doesnt stand out, so when you put your phone on a table the phone doesnt lie on the lens. And BTW the phone is still slimmer than SGS1
