and now happy with 4GB data partition.

but when i have booted to SAMMY rom all CLEAN, but internal SDCARD was broken. via MTP i see that disk is exist but size is broken.

so i have flashed my kernel via ODIN, went to recovery, and when recovery loaded, WINDOWS asked me if i like to FORMAT my internal sd.

and it's was 9.50GB size, so i say YES. and all good now. clean partition and i am loading my stuff back.

P.S for OP!

no problem to restore nand backup via recovery

O! and user should flash his best radio firmware as SAMMY comes with other, maybe not good for USER.

Just to be clear.

1. I can make a nandroid backup of my current Rom set up to lets say EXTERNAL card.

2. Then follow the instructions in op to flash 4gb pit via odin.

3. Flash your kernel via odin

4. Then wipe internal card.

5. And finally I can restore my nandroid backup... Correct ?

yep

you need .tar version of my kernel.
then go to recovery after odin flash.

and fix the sdcard. then you can wipe all via recovery, and install any ROM, or just restore your backup.

if you are using my BETA kernel then install the latest beta, if not then install any other you are using.

copy all your files back to internal sd from your PC

reboot and that's it.

you have bigger data storage. AND SAY BIG THANKS to OP metalgearhathaway

Great I thought so..

Can the same concept be used to increase the partician of Rom area?

So basically increasing the area so that Duel booting will be easier with Stock jb roms ?

Instead of having to modify stock jb rom. Preload files which is how people are doing it presently.?

good question.

but need to ask MOD creator to make new PIT for sizing the SYSTEM

but we cant remove the PRELOADED as it's used for SEC ROM system.

this will make our internal sd smaller in more 0.5GB but i agree that is good thing!

and may improve the dual boot world.

Let the phone do the android chap do his spinny wire ball belly animation and then remove the battery and do a factory reset using the usual power/vol up/ home trick.

After rebooting after odin flash, your phone should do a small update itself with the green android screen, you don't reboot the phone untill it has finished that short stage.

@dorimanx Cheers for helping out on the thread so quickly, privilidge to have your contribution

your phone is safe, it is not safe if you flash a bad/incorrect pit file, which is why I tested these all prior to posting, I don't fancy an XDA ban lol

@rkoby13 Yeagh my brick was moisture based issue with usb, or so Samsung told me, not too expensive luckily!

The mod creator of the pit has oddly disappeared off the forums, so I will see if I can expand my knowledge of PIT magic to see what can be achieved, I have time limitations at the moment however, I will try and learn more during the week and post back on anything I create or learn.

I want to make a pit for making the data partition as large as it can be.

I want to research the swapping of internal/external sd cards as well, as someone has asked.

Nice to see since posting this thread that other people had been wanting the same thing as me! Viva la S2 baby!

There is a lot to remember when giving out advice

Very true people, if you flash a stock rom that is not for your designated region, then it is wise to flash the appropriate radio firmware too! Of course, if your OCD like me, then you have the right stock rom native to you region, but I will guess some have not had the luck or luxury!

Cheers again to Dori for helping me get the thread conforming to what is expected and makes XDA great!

Hi,

Just flashed PIT 4Go with MS1 JB stock Rom.
I put off my External Sd card for the manipulations.

Reflashed DorimanX 8.43.tar and restore my Nandroid backup of PAC Unofficial @Nico_60/DorimanX 9.43v28.

All works fine

Here my results :
