You can't flash TWRP 3.1.0-0 as a .tar file via Odin on the S2. Try to flash the attached kernel with a built-in older TWRP. Now you can flash the newest TWRP as zip file from @the.gangster, see here.am not able to install TWRP recovery 3.1.0.0 on my phone Samsung Galaxy S-II (GT-I9100) through Odin 3.12.3 but it shows the message at the end "complete (write) operation failed" (Failed 1).
I also try CWM and one another recovery to install it through Odin but it shows the failed message. What to do?
Requires some .dll files. I have gotten them and now it says application was unable to start correctly. Please i need help asap. Thank you

I tried this...You can't flash TWRP 3.1.0-0 as a .tar file via Odin on the S2. Try to flash the attached kernel with a built-in older TWRP. Now you can flash the newest TWRP as zip file from @the.gangster, see here.
If all fails flash the stock ROM through Odin, go into download mode an flash the attached kernel.
If things haven't changed during the last 4 years the most likely reason is:I tried this...
no erros so far, but, after rebooting recovery, I still have the same old TWRP version, the one flashed with the kernel...
OK, this is what I did.If things haven't changed during the last 4 years the most likely reason is:
Your current kernel doesn't support IsoRec.
Yes. That should work then.OK, this is what I did.
flashed stock touchwiz 4.1.2 via odin
Flashed this file: stock_kernel_twrp_1120-signed-for_Odin.tar via odin
then tried your .zip file...
if thats wrong,, then Am having a bad time finding the appropiate IsoRec, can you please point me in the right direction? as of what to write ?
Should I extract the boot.img file from lineage 14 Rom, and write it to boot partition ?
as far as I know the lineage 14 boot is IsoRec compliant, and my purpose is towrite lineage os 14 to the phone.
