Extract a zimage from a stock kernel, flash it through cwm.boot your phone, enter recovery and flash the kernel of your choice.
This is the same steps for getting rid of the yellow triangle

Thanks Deeren. Done that.....it does not clear the first boot screen. That remains no matter what. Ive sorted it by flashing back to original firmware via ODIN.
I wont be touching abyss in future....too much trouble for very little gain.....
