Performance menu is in Part 2 although they're not working anyway
Settings in Startup Tweaks still do not STICK.

Hahaha OMG.... I thought it was a bad day at work for me, but it reflected everywhere I flashed Part 1 twice everytime I installed the ROM... Thanks alot .. I don't know where was I lost

I just flashed the latest Kernel SiyahKernel v3.0beta5 from here http://www.gokhanmoral.com/
This kernel works nice for me and the performance of my phone has improved a lot

I am very happy with this kernel and 0.6 – Great ROM!
It runs very stable and I have no issues.
The only thing which is in my opinion a bit annoying are the colors of the menu, here is I guess a bit more developing necessary.

Ok, I agree with you....
Volume is ok with the hardware button.
Alter the Brightness crashes :-( However, I use auto brightness so not a big issue for me.
Gmail: I have seen. Works, but the theme... Not using Gmail often.

What you recon?

Well the Gmail app was M.I.A. for me!
I've returned to 0.5
Also I found Siyah Beta4 to be (considerably) faster than Beta5 on Benchmark

After flashing the SiyahKernel v3.0beta5 Kernel, I can't boot into recovery anymore.
I have tried CWM, Titanium and hardware buttons.
Also restoring a backup via CWM does not work anymore.

Can someone help?

beta .5 has been taken down partly cost of the CWM issue, just wait for him to fix and reupload it then u flash with odin

Not.a.brightness.adjust issue.but a siyah's kernel.issue...
Been adressed properly at kernels.thread.....

Calibrate battery
-Charge the phone fully charged (100%)
-Download this application from the Android Market: Battery Calibration
Make-download the phone will never connect to PC USB charging otherwise ..
-Do a full charge without interruptions.
After a few-cycle charge / discharge the battery should be recalibrated.

Wrong posted check Siyah's ICS thread...

anyway extract zImage from beta4 zip and flash via CWM app or download beta4 tar and flash via mobile odin or darkyota apps.. then u will get recovery back

edit: Sorry forgot... boot your phone to normal use and proceed the above then you good to go more tips on Siyah thread

Been on 0.6 since last night and everything is fine. I too was missing the gmail app, but i didnt use it anyway so not a big issue for me.

love that the new gallery is included its layout is really nice.

got a force close trying to change lockscreen wallpaper via dispaly>lockscreen but to get round this you can set an image you want as a lock screen with the gallary options.

It seems like there is a lot of problems with this rom, I have a few I would like to mention, first of all, titanium backup can´t restore anything I´ve tried comming from stock ics update, and comming from my old gingerbread rom, and not possible to restore anything, both cases. Another problem is that I can´t restore fully my contacts, it stays at 82% and it doesn´t go any further, battery not that great either, it drains fast, you have to charge it at least twice a day.
Cool things: new gallery and video watching are cool, of course the 15 items in quick panel are great too, but not worth for those thing that don´t work.
Stock ics 4.0.3 lpq is really good although we don´t have these last things I mentioned.
SUGGESTION:stay with ics stock, until there is a pretty decent and bugless rom, Iheard resurrection is pretty bug-free, I will give it a shot.

Sorry but i cannot agree with you... i restored everything with titanium backup only 2 applications needs to unmount my external sd and after remount it.
I restored all my contacts sms mms and calls registry with mybackup with zero problems.
The battery is more than in the past (even more than with FH GB)... i can use wifi theetering without the needs to charge the device while i'm using it at work with my pc... in the same day i use regular phone calls viber calls and tango calls... travel with gps on 3g on wifi on and i'm sure i can end my day without charge my phone.

May be your are doing something wrong.

I'd take a look at the new resurrection 1.0 cause i think Foxhound and Resurrection are the best ics roms for S2 but reading all the issues people are asking for now i think this one is the less-trouble one... you can check it by yourself.

You are free to use any kind of rom do you want but this rom is now at least equal or better compared to others.

If you replace both extracting them from the part 1 big file and put them in the system/app folder you should have the stock apks.

When you flash the part 2 file it overwrite them with aosp apks... i think you need only to replace these apks from the first (part 1) file you used to flash.

Either that or just don't flash part 2
It works fine for me and much better with more options on the stock contacts.
