Thanks a lot for this xmas present! One question before I try to flash: Is 1 GB system partition enough for this ROM including OpenGApps nano or do I need to repartition again (maybe to 1.5 GB)?

@linusdan

Hi.

I'm thinking about installing an 8.1.0 in my SII, but I see that there are many versions, for example:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-oreo-t3828987
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ience-t3845188
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-13-1-t3847217
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...6-2-0-t3847561

What is the difference between them?
My intention is to obtain a ROM with the following:
- Good battery autonomy
- That the Wifi works without problems
- That Google maps work without problems
- The camera works

What could you advise me?

a greeting

Hello, just flashed RR on my S2, everything works perfectly, only issue i cannot transfer files from USB, i see it sets to "Charging the device" under "Connections" in Settings but when i change it to "Transfer Files" nothing happens on my computer.

However in TWRP i can mount USB and see all the files, so it might be something related to the ROM or something else in the system.

Any solutions?
Cheers!

I can't boot. Setup Wizard crashes over and over and can't skip it.
I was using twrp 2.8.x.x, maybe that's the issue??
Will try again another day when I get time to update/change recovery (and try out f2fs )

For my g-apps-less installation it works with 1GB. Battery life seems to be normal - my original battery is empty after 12..15h (and about 1h SoT).

Hello everyone! I want to flash this ROM but I have this issue: I had install TWRP 3.1.0 and I installed the latest one (3.2.3-0) directly via previous TWRP as an image file (by choosing Recovery option when asked) and my S2 got bootloop. Any suggestion please?

Go back to TWRP 3.1.0 and flash again
Use Odin for flash the TWRP.
