Hi,
Just repeating the question asked a few pages back:
Battery consumption seems to be very high, almost 1% every 5 minutes!
Any fix?

Give some more info... setup? I'm on cf kernel and battery life is beautiful

go to recovery and wipe battery stats if it didn't work then u have to format ur sd card.

Oh Gee! It wasn't a big update and was just to give you some ideas

Ok, well heres the changelog

Based on XWLP7 deodexed by wanam and LP4 from Thebyani
Added Beats Audio codec library
Added Beats Audio Boot animation
Added Custom start up sound (F1 racing car)
Changed default wallpaper to Beats Audio
Added Cron, init.d script and files from liberty rom (Siyah Compatible - change liberty.cfg in system/etc to make changes - zip align, fix permissions, SD Boost.. and others in folder system/etc/init.d)
Added Siyah kernel 3.1 rc2 (*note* rc3 is currently out)
Changed LP7 csc to LP4 csc [LUX] (as I didn't like my phone starting up in Russian )

ok I think thats all from memory..

have to say... i like new boot animation but unfortunately not the aound of F1 car
can live with it as there is no need to restart so often.
already installed and testing. so far so good.

Yeah I had fading music but you know .. royalty payments and stuff lol .. so wanted a sound of speed .. F1 car was what I came up with

You can customise it to whatever you want ..
Here's some tips

PowerOn.ogg (case sensitive) will play for 10 Seconds exactly
you can make your own start up sound by converting any sound file on your phone or pc by visiting http://media.io
* upload .. convert to ogg .. select quality
file will then be ready for download .. so download and Rename to "PowerOn.ogg" and replace existing file in system/etc

If you want no sound at all on start up .. delete the PowerOn.ogg file

If its 1% every 5 minutes with screen on it sounds normal to me. Thats around 8 hours screen time! I get around 5 hours screen time since GB. Thats 1% down every 3-4 min with screen on and wi fi or 3g on.

If its 1% every 5 minutes with screen off then something is wrong.

Hi,
I had similar problem.
I solved it indirectly by typing my email id carefully and then double clicking on the typed text to highlight it.
I could then check if it is typed correctly.
For password, I just typed it carefully and it worked.
Once you cross this step, there should be no problem with further configuration/normal use of the email application.

Thanks for the comment.
I think you are right.
With the screen turned off all morning today and the phone in vibration mode for about 3 hours with no calls, the battery was down by only 2%.
Wifi was off during that time too.

How can we replace beat audio boot up animation to regular S2/Nexus?

Also, is it just me since 3.8 (I am now on 3.9), the App Drawer shows black screen with no icons, just the tabs randomly?
