I'm having problem in 11.8 can't have root access

excellent rom. Haven't tested 11.8 as with 11.6 -11.7 I was always facing the same issue. The phone connects the first 2-3 times with my network, and then just doen't. Always performing a clean install. I'm usin' Connectify to set up my pc as an access point. I think others are having the same issues.. Is there a way to fix this ?

Btw, there is a fix for the blinking crt-off. Tried it with 11.7 and it works fine

WANAM: I re-dowload and re-flashed 11.8 stock themed comming from 11.7 stock themed but have some problemms: i did full wipe (factory, cache partition, dalviak), but i cant find the icon: SETTINGS, and i cant have ROOT too. Anyone knows what is happening? Thanks in advance.

in sms.apk there is no option to choose in which encoding we want to send the message (GSM alphabet, automatic etc) It's preset to automatic

Is there a way we can change this and have that option back in mms.apk? I want to use GSM alphabet for encoding.

Same here... updating from 11.7 missing some icons and no root access can't update su binary... in 11.7 we have supersu working fine but in 11.8 we have superuser but its broken tryed to remove superuser and install supersu but the problem remains. Wiped the rom and flashed 11.7 and it works fine.

11.8 stock theme. Didn't try blue theme.

Try mms.apk from stock ROM. Deodexed stock from Wanam.

No root with blue themed ics rom, but you can solve it by using abyss1.2 kernel menu root installer. this worked for me.

It was changed cwm version as I remember from 5.4 to 5.5.
May be problem here?

Try mms.apk from stock ROM. Deodexed stock from Wanam.

Yes I know that it will work this way but I also need the other mms.apk mods (sent time timestamp etc). By using the stock mms.apk you lose these mods.

Right know I'm looking at other roms to find a mms.apk with all the mods, but also with the encoding option

Hi,you can reboot to recovery by choosing reboot in the toggles.

Btw: i have no issues with root premissions(ics theme) did'nt do any kind of wipe.

I dindnt do any wipe also. I fixed the root issue, but the home button doesnt work normally....

These should work... just hold the buttons a little longer.
