im having a problem

i flashed LPS the other day but didnt like ICS, i reverted back to LA4 with CWM but google play app and website thinks im still on ICS so i get updates for things like Flash, Gmail, Talkback and YT but then get errors saying a need a newer SDK version.

Also apps i have installed some say incompatible because Play thinks im still using ICS but infact on Gingerbread.

Really confused as to why this is happening.

I think the only way is doing factory reset and wipping dalvik and then restoring CWM backup from recovery.

I did not have any issue doing it that way!

Any issue with XEN XWLP7 and Wifi or not installing Swype if CSC it is not XEN?

For LP3 version I did not have SWYPE as I have XEU CSC...

Indeed, wipe proved not necessary, though it did hang on the animated Galaxy S logo for twenty minutes plus, until i forced a restart.

Then all was there ok.

However, a different big problem: LP7 didn't get me through a single 8 hour shift at work, battery wise...

Will try a full charge tonight and see again tomorrow, but my usage pattern at work is always minimal, and always very even and equal from one shift to the next, and it normally sees out a whole day fine, with around 20% left when I finish.

So I hope it was just a one off...

Regards,

Hmm ... I just flashed XWLP7 (XEN) with the OXALPQ CSC.
As I was on this CSC before (MultiCSC, and I selected XEU after flashing this for the first time), I am still on XEU.
No wifi or swype issues on my phone.

True, additional apps are now part of the hidden partition since they supposely needen more space on system

btw, are XWLP7 SER and XEN the same build, just different CSC?
