I've already updated my O2 branded SGS2 with the latest version the official way using Kies.
If I update it again using odin with the above file, it will change it to XEU, that would be ok, installing the same firmware?

Did you read the first post of the thread?

All of you asking about root, root is the same ad before. Go read in dev forum.

Here we go guys, latest official UK firmware
PDA:XWKE1
PHONE: XXKDJ
CSC:XEUKD1 (XEU)

1. Just put extract the .tar file in the zip archive and put it as the PDA in odin and reboot your phone to download mode.

2. DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, TICK REPARTITION.

3. Connect the USB cable and flash

Anyone ask about .pit file is a moron

I know it's an old screenshot but still the same methodology
No password needed.

It will not wipe your phone if you flash as recommended
You will lose root so just reroot

Here is the original kernel!
I used XWKDD insecure to root and this one to flash back the original kernel
Tested on my SGSII with the latest official ROM
